The ESD Gen 5 Glock Magwell is made of high-quality 6061-T6 aluminum and includes all the hardware necessary to mount it. The ESD Magwell is currently available for Glock double-stack Gen 5 pistols chambered in 9mm and .40, with support for other handguns coming in the future. We are developing a Glock 19 Magwell plug and this will be available in the near future for those who want to use the Magwell on 19s with no fitment risk. Glock 19’s can use an ESD Magwell with existing plugs but there is a risk that your mags won’t drop freely depending on the tolerances of your frame and magazines so modification may be required. Glock 19X’s can use ESD Gen 5 Glock Magwells but require modifications to the 19x frame. Edgar Sherman Design LLC is not liable for any modifications made to your handgun.

This product currently fits only Glock double-stack Gen 5 pistols chambered in 9mm and .40. The Glock 19s plug angle is different than the full frame Glocks, so while it can be installed you will sometimes run into an issue where your mags will stick. There are some light modifications that can be made to correct this that have worked for both our customers and for us. This is important because it means your fingers are getting a more consistent and reliable grip than that of standard rifle grips. The Enhanced Foregrip has grooves all along the main curve and on the back of the grip. This allows for more consistency when your hands are wet or while wearing gloves. The grooves and the flat wall on the back section of the EFG allow for more stability in unconventional shooting positions and on barricades. The hook on the bottom of the EFG helps maintain a consistent placement of your hand without the risk of slippage during sustained fire. The hook also benefits the end-user when utilizing barricades to help capture and stabilize the firearm.
